Located at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 near the junction with Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1, this MRT station will be on the first phase of the Jurong Region MRT Line (JRL) and will bring direct rail connectivity to serve Choa Chu Kang Primary School, Concord Primary School, Bukit Panjang Government High School, Sunshine Place shopping mall, Victory Family Centre (Choa Chu Kang), Bethany Methodist Nursing Home as well as residential developments around Choa Chu Kang Avenues 2, 3, 4 and 5. The station is served by SMRT Buses services 172 (Choa Chu Kang - Boon Lay), 300 (Choa Chu Kang - Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 (Loop)), 301 (Choa Chu Kang - Keat Hong Close (Loop)), 975 (Bukit Panjang - Lim Chu Kang Road (Loop)), 975A (Choa Chu Kang MRT Station - Brickland Road), 975B (Choa Chu Kang MRT Station - Lim Chu Kang Road), 975C (Bukit Panjang - Lim Chu Kang Road) and 991 (Bukit Batok - Choa Chu Kang) and was originally scheduled to open in 2026 but due to construction delays caused by COVID-19 pandemic, this station is scheduled to open in 2027 instead.
