Recently renovated, the shrine now provides divine guidance for experiencing the total influence of the deity and a profound sense of joy in prayer. Drawing thousands of devotees annually, the temple offers optimal services and fosters a serene atmosphere conducive to rituals and prayers. It serves as a sacred haven, creating a spiritual space for devotees to approach and seek divine blessings from the deity. Since 1999, the temple has expanded by adding four new sanctums—dedicated to Durga, Hanuman, Periyatchi, and Ayyapan—to meet the spiritual needs of the Hindu community in the region. The Sree Maha Mariamman Temple, one of Singapore's oldest temples, provides Singaporeans with religious, social, and community services. With a history spanning 84 years, it originated humbly in Sembawang Estate, 12th mile, before the Japanese Occupation, where Hindu estate workers worshipped a timber statue. Over time, it has become a prominent Hindu landmark in Singapore's Northern sector, featuring a temple complex adorned with splendid sculptures in a serene and spiritually conducive environment. The fully air-conditioned temple can accommodate up to 500 people. Beyond its religious functions, the Sree Maha Mariamman Temple actively contributes to national objectives by fostering closer ties among multi-religious and multi-racial organisations. It is crucial in promoting social integration among newcomers and locals, actively participating in various community events. The temple's vision includes establishing a library dedicated to the research of Hindu Scriptures, an orphanage for the less fortunate, and a spiritual sanctuary for elderly devotees, aligning with their commitment to national objectives and community welfare.

The Sri Veeramuthu Muneeswarar Temple is within 'Hock Huat Kenp Temple,' featuring an outdoor prayer area and seating facilities. Devotees express their devotion by willingly donating blood to the temple. The Navratri festival, dedicated to goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati, is widely celebrated here. The joyous and colourful festival of 'Raksha Bandhan' is also observed. The temple also honours the Lunar month of Shravana's full moon day, and vehicular access is provided for convenience. Devotees contribute financially to the temple, and the committee uses funds to expand its facilities. In the context of Durga Temple practices, the Rahu kala puja is typically conducted during the Rahu kala period, and Deeparadhana involves using lemon cups.
