"Sree Ramar Temple is closely associated with the Ramayana, an important epic in Indian mythology. People from the surrounding areas come to the temple to participate in daily prayers and events. In addition to spiritual services, the temple meets the educational and social needs of devotees by organising events for families and children. The management committee coordinates a variety of seasonal religious activities, including Thiruvilakku Pooja, Chandi Homams, Ramar Navami, Hanuman Jayanthi, and the Navaratri Festival.
2026 Update: The temple began to take shape through the efforts of Mr Ram Naidu of the British Indian Army, who secured the present site from the British at the end of the Second World War and initiated its construction. Over time, residents from the surrounding areas began to participate in the temple’s daily prayers and activities."
