"Murugan Hill Temple was built by Shanmugam, a plumber affiliated with the RAF, in 1962. Murugan Hill Temple is famous for Panguni Uthiram. The temple, which gained prominence over the years, had its inaugural pooja in 1962, thanks to the support of villagers and RAF employees. The temple has a unique structure, quite different from other Singapore temples. They serve Annadhanam in a quiet place every day.

2026 Update: The temple comprises three main sanctums dedicated to Murugan, Vinayagar, and Siva-Shakti. Other deities enshrined include Durga, Muneeswaran, Mariamman, Periyachi, Lakshmi-Narayanan, Nagar, Bairavar, Idumban, Muniandy, and the Navagrahas. The Chinese deity Kuan Im is also worshipped here. The basement serves as a wedding hall, while the upper floor houses the main temple. A small pond will also be constructed in front of the temple."
