“Murugan Hill Temple was built by Shanmugam, a plumber affiliated with the RAF, in 1962. A shrine that resembles Sri Muneeswaran was spotted by him. Murugan Hill Temple is famous for Panguni Uthiram. The temple, which gained prominence over the years, had its inaugural pooja in 1962, thanks to the support of villagers and RAF employees. 1000s of devotees visit the temple every year. The temple has a unique structure, quite different from other Singapore temples. The temple's main deities are Lord Murugan, Vinayagar and Siva-Shakti, Lord Ganesha, Mariamman, Periyachi, Lakshmi-Narayanan, Nagar, Bairavar, Idumban, Muniandy, and even Chinese Deity Kuan Im. They serve Annadhanam in a quiet place every day.”
