Hair Studio Flamingo

1st visit to Flamingo. Love the bright airy space of the salon in the old Tiong Bahru houses and the salon was conveniently located right beside the bus stop. Hiro was very friendly and meticulous, checking my hair condition and also discussing with me on what he intends to do and offering suggestions (We made a few references to Google translate which was a breeze ;p). He was also very attentive and careful to check on my condition, taking precautions especially after he learnt my scalp may be slightly sensitive at times. I love the hair style and colour he recommended for me - taking note of my preferences. The new brownish red colour " cleverly" made use of my previously bleached highlights to create a new nice flowy look. My new hair style is now lighter, fluffy (has volume) and easy to manage (wash & go) - just the way I like. Thank you, Hiro.

I visted this place because of my girlfriend's recommendation. I never found the reasoning of why I should spend more than a few hundred on a haircut. But after coming here, I finally understand why. From the second I walked in, to my hair being cut and my hair being shampooed. Each and every single step, I was taken care well by my hairstylist - Makato. He was so friendly to me the moment I took the first step into the store and he made sure I had a good experience throughout. Thank you Makato! I'll come back ANYTIME! Jiro-san did my hair for me. He chose a beautiful colour to dye my hair and covered all the previous muted bleach highlights. Now my hair feels lighter and the style brightens my face.
