Swee Lee Social Club

I came here often to have waffles. It is nestled within a music shop. The waffles are great. I replaced a meal with waffles full size. It is satiating and as good as eating a one meal. The coffee is great. The cafe closed early at 730pm.

Nestled within the reputed Swee Lee music shop, this cafe serves a myriad of drinks, with many non-caffeinated drink choices. Go with a friend, because the second drink is 50% off. The atmosphere was cozy with faint guitar playing from the main music shop, but what really topped the experience was the WAFFLE. We ordered the apple pie waffle ($18). The exterior crispy and appropriately coated in apple pie sauce, and the inside was soft and doughy. It was topped with good quality vanilla ice cream, apple bits and nuts. It’s one of those foods where after you finish you wished you had more. In terms of facilities, some seats had access to charging plugs and there was wifi too, though it can get quite crowded with churchgoers on weekends. Will def come back and try the other flavours!

The coffee is really great. I really didn't expect such good quality coffee from a cafe inside a guitar store but I was pleasantly surprised. They use very good quality ice too—crystal clear. The quality of ice is a subtle detail that often indicates the quality of drinks.
