“Poo Thor Jee Temple is an ideal and divine spot with an elegant atmosphere. The temple provides devotees and visitors with a wide space for meditation and prayer. The resident monks extend their prayers and chant mantras to all who seek peace in this sacred space. Poo Thor Jee Temple has undergone various reconstructions and renovations, with the present structure built in 1968. This was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. In 1995, the temple was integrated into the library and arts and culture centre. The temple also serves a vegetarian meal after the puja. The temple invites visitors and devotees from across the world and offers a relaxing meditation and prayer.”
