Sheng Jia Temple's main deity is the Monkey God and holds a long history of more than 40 years. The other deities are Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy), Five Battalion Commanders (Wu Ying Shen Jiang), Shan Cai Tongzi, Zhang Tian Shi, Guan Di (civil), Xuan Tian Shang Di, and The Third Prince (Nezha). The temple conducts annual prayers each year. All of their temple workers work voluntarily and on a free-will basis.
