Kuan Im Tng Temple is a prominent historical landmark on Tembeling Road. It is a traditional Chinese temple with Taoist and Buddhist Pantheon deities. It is a very well-managed temple with friendly environmental practices in place. The temple, most statues of Maitreya Buddha which depict a stout and laughing bald man in robes with a largely exposed pot belly stomach, were based on Budai’s appearance and is also because of this jolly smile, Maitreya Buddha, is commonly known as the ‘Laughing Buddha’. In addition, Kuan Im Tng Temple has a variety of Buddha statues. They have a counter where you can sign up for them to pray for you at major festivals and events.

KUAN IM TNG TEMPLE (JOO CHIAT) REVIEWS
As usual not crowded even on Sunday but still no incense allowed so you pray with the incense sticks that is not lighted and put it one side once you are done. They probably gonna burn all at one go at the end of day or when the plate is full.
A good place to worship. Like it is very orderly for seniors to pray not rushing.
I go-to Kuan Im temple as it is quiet and has ample parking space.
