Wat Ananda Metyarama Thai Buddhist Temple was founded by Venerable Luang Phor Hong Dhammaratano (Phra Dhammaratano Bandit). It is the oldest Theravada Buddhist tradition temple in Singapore, and the temple celebrates 'Thai festival' as a famous event. It has a beautiful main shrine room with stunning paintings from the Buddha's life story. The temple houses the monk's abode, dhamma hall and meditation hall, cultural centre (museum), dining hall, and rest area (open for public).
