They have very yummy pineapple tarts during CNY! also their huat kuehs on usual days are all of unique flavours, worth a try! best of all; no pork no lard. p/s: seasonal angkukueh is really in a shape of a turtle& its always the top on my list if they have it! usually hated akk for the Q ness chewy skin, but Mr Bready’s gave a whole new meaning to my AKK very soft n thin skin. Check them out if youre in Meiling Hawker. No regrets!

Finally an ang ku kueh that looks like a turtle. Very cute and yummy. The skin was soft and the filling was packed full of red bean, peanuts or yam. It looks like natural instead of artificial colourings were used. This probably explains the rather steep price at $1.60 a piece.

Love their brown sugar cinnamon bun, soft puffy, the sweetness just nice, love the cinnamon smell too.
