Hi, I contacted SoCool after having issues with our previous aircon servicing company. They were extremely prompt in responding to my queries and were even able to send out a technician to me on the same day as my request for servicing. The technician was thorough, skilled and made sure each of the units were serviced properly, talking me through any issues. I was really happy with the service (which also left minimal mess and caused minimal disruption) and am looking forward to the next one!
I recently had my aircon serviced by SoCool and Jimmy was the technician who came over. He was very efficient, clearly explained the new digital invoice system, and ensured I understood every detail. I really appreciate his professionalism and thoroughness! Highly recommend Jimmy and SoCool for anyone needing aircon servicing.
Very pleased with their service. Came prepared with necessary tools for my window unit. Problem was resolved quickly & excellently. Will definitely use their service again.
[R-1][NG] I am compelled to write this long review so I hope others will not be fall in the same trap as I did. I just moved into our new home at the beginning of 2025. The air-conditioning system was less than a year old, and we have been diligent with regular maintenance. We have invoices to prove this. 5 December 2025: We conducted a normal servicing. Around 3–4 months later, a strong unpleasant odor started coming from the air-conditioner. 7 May 2026: I contacted So Cool again to resolve the issue. Their technicians recommended steam cleaning, compressor chemical cleaning, gas top-up and other servicing, assuring me these would solve the odor problem. I paid S$545 for these services. Unfortunately, the odor did not improve at all. In fact, it became progressively worse. Every night when we switched on the air-conditioner, our room would fill with a foul smell resembling a mixture of wet socks and rotten eggs. It became so bad that both my partner and I felt nauseous. I contacted So Cool again. They sent another two technicians to inspect the unit. My partner was present as a witness. After their inspection, we were told things like: "It is what it is. Air-conditioners just smell." "Put an air freshener." "It could be a piping issue." With no proper resolution from So Cool, I contacted Audio House, where I had purchased the air-conditioners, believing there might indeed be an installation or piping issue since the system was still under warranty. To Audio House's credit, they arranged for a senior technician to inspect everything on 4 July 2026. During the inspection, the technician reviewed So Cool's invoice and questioned why I had been charged for compressor chemical cleaning, commenting that this is not a service they would normally perform. He was equally surprised that I had been advised to do a gas top-up when the air-conditioner was still relatively new. At the time, I trusted the recommendations because I am not an air-conditioning expert. Most importantly, the Audio House technician informed me that the units had not been properly cleaned. He then carried out a thorough cleaning himself. The result speaks for itself. It has now been three weeks since the cleaning on 4 July, and the odor has completely disappeared. We are finally able to use our air-conditioner without feeling nauseous. Based on my experience: The issue was not a piping problem as suggested. The issue was not simply "air-conditioners smell like this." A proper cleaning resolved the problem completely. What disappointed me the most was not just the money spent, but the overall experience. I relied on So Cool's expertise, paid for the services they recommended, yet the original problem remained unresolved. When I sought further help, I felt my concerns were dismissed and redirected elsewhere instead of being properly investigated. I also have WhatsApp conversations documenting my interactions and the recommendations made during the servicing process. I am sharing this experience so that other consumers can make informed decisions. If anyone has experienced something similar, I encourage you to share your experience as well. I also hope the relevant consumer protection authorities, including CASE, take consumer feedback seriously and investigate complaints where appropriate so that customers receive honest advice and quality service - shin
